Rear camera not working going down the road.

The rear view camera will not work going down the road. It will work when you put in reverse. Anyone had this problem? Do you n ow how they solved it?

I've had issues with all cameras on the screen going blank or lines. Under the passenger side dash plastic piece the cameras plug into the back of the metal box. unplug and plug back in or just jiggling it solves the problem. Tried to have it replaced under warranty

Oops hit wrong button vendor would not replace unless it completely failed according to the Lazy Days tech

My Holiday Rambler Vacationer originally only put power to the camera when the vehicle was in reverse. It had a 120 volt outlet that powered on via a relay when in reverse. An 12v adapter was plugged into the outlet. I eliminated that setup and connected the camera to switched 12V.

It will show left and right but rear is black.

Is this a new problem or has the system never worked properly? Have you done a coach 12V system reset?

There's only one motorized camera in the Total Vision system so if you see an image at all the camera itself is probably OK.

Putting the coach in reverse should only have an effect if the automatic reverse look down feature is set in programming. That points the camera at the hitch when the trans is put into reverse but shouldn't affect whether the camera is showing an image.

The camera will work without the engine running or the key in the ignition. So, while parked, when you turn on the front screens and turn on the camera system what do you see?

Is the "C" button on the Total Vision control pad lit showing the system is on? Does anything change when you push the rear view/fan or hitch view buttons?

Since you're still under warranty bypass the dealer (always a good idea) and call Entegra CS or try calling Rod at Total Vision, 520-907-4977. I haven't talked to him for 2 years but he was very helpful back then.

Same issues with our 2019 anthem...dash cam and rear cam are being replaced this week. Of course it took 2 months to get the parts from Entegra.
