Rear View Camera Display on Dash
I had my rear view display on watching my toad. Started my generator and it apparently killed this display. Has anyone had this happen and was the unit replaced. If so what was done to prevent this happening again?

Rear camera
I recently had a rear camera failure for no apparent reason, the repair shop replaced the camera and the video card with updated components, all working well now

There isn't any connection between the generator, or any AC electrical circuits, and the in-dash display. That's all 12 volt and A/V stuff. I'm thinking that starting the generator was a coincidence at the time unless the startup vibration caused a plug to fall out of the display. My opinion is that this is strictly an issue related to the display itself, or a bad cable connection.

Mine has blanked once in the past. Try turning off the 12v disconnect at the door to reset the 12v power and see if it comes back on.

X2 about a month ago. We just made the 1200 miles up to Entegra without another problem.
I am learning with anything electrical on the Entegra's, rebooting seems to resolve the problem.

When my backup display goes blank I pull to two fuses #13 in the uppper and lower fuse boxes located under the drive side outside compartment. Works ever time to get the screen back on.

I had this problem about a year ago. Rebooting did not work. CS instructed me to pull a wire in the dash and then replace it. Could be the same function as the fuse mentioned.
They said the wire butt connector was probably loose, but I didn't tighten it and the problem has never come back.
