Reboot got me again, third time was a charm.

Did the 1.49 update and rebooted after the update. Loaded the DCM2 update and rebooted again...all good, nope. Arrived in Tampa for a few days, heat worked fine at night, but the A/C would not come on during the day. Talked to NowaBeachbum and he remind me of the drill.....reboot. Third time was a charm. Even I have to be reminded, Last thing I thought of was a third time reboot.

If you are updating a 19 Vega Touch and something does not work after the update, reboot again. Something I have to get use to. This is the second time that has happened to me after an update.

Hey Chuck. Are you just cycling the 12v at the door? I just loaded the updates and figured I would preemptively cycle it 3 times for shits and giggles!

Yes, the 12v switch at the door or the drivers console. I am use to rebooting, but not rebooting reboots.

Thanks! My new procedure will be:
1. Update
2. Reboot
3. Reboot the reboot
4. Reboot the reboot of 1st Reboot!

I just hope this lame post helps others that one reboot on the newer Vega Touches are sometime not enough. Might save a few others my frustration or bothering Entegra CS with something so simple.

They are sent to the Vegatouch directly from Firefly.

And only on the 19 models. 18's and below no worries.

I think it needs to be moved to my first name. I though of your post as soon as Gary said "you know the drill, reboot".
