Recalibrating the Mobileye

Has anyone done this? We had our windshield replaced about a year ago and we haven't did this yet. All I have is a sheet that says to Phil Hobson at Riverpark. Can a person do this on your own or do you have to call this guy?

We had to have ours setup due to the camera and main box replacement because of cut wires. A mobile eye dealer has aiming cards and a computer program that walks them through the setup. The program concludes with a confirming drive. It took about an hour after the qualified person arrived. The two stops and 8 hours before the qualified person... We had it done at a little car accessory shop in Toledo while passing through to and from Spartan.

The Mobil Eye "sees" out the front windshield notifying the driver of lane wandering, following distances, & pedestrians with a very annoying tone. Very useful if you didn't see , annoying otherwise.

Time for an update.

Contacted Riverpark Inc. using the number on the instruction sheet provided by Entegra Coach. After calling the number and talking to a tech support person it seems Phil Hobson as noted in the sheet is no longer with the company, what a surprise (sarc) The tech needed to know the model of the Mobileye installed. The information sheet provided by Entegra Coach did not list the model number only the serial number of the unit which the tech could not cross match to a model. The tech asked me to describe the unit and determined that it was a C2-270. They discontinued that model in 2013. Our 2014 coach was built in 2013. I'll buy that. Then he said that he knows nothing about that unit because it was a previous model and all the personnel that knows anything about it are no longer with the company. WHAT? His advice was to contact a dealer that could recalibrate it. We were in the middle of Kansas at the time and he gave me a name in Salina, KS. After a call they said they no longer support Mobileye. (Thanks a bunch) I called Entegra CS, the so called tech support person there knew nothing more than to send an email to Mobileye support. They then called me with no more advice than they had the first time. I asked them if they kept any documentation from the previous versions? He said they did but he couldn't access those documents in real time. Really? I resorted to looking up a dealer on my own. The next closest in the area was Litchsinn Motors in Iowa, a Winnebago/Itasca dealer. Talking to the service guy there he wanted to know all about the coach and the chassis noting that they have never serviced a Mobileye on a Spartan chassis and that they would have to re-flash the unit and they didn't have the program for that chassis. Oh really. I guessed he really didn't want to deal with it. So that leaves me with nothing until I can find a dealer with a brain. .......to be continued......... Sorry for the frustration.

Thanks but I do not have the software or hardware required to connect to the unit. So I don't quite understand how to use these documents.
