Red diagnostic light

OK, I know I can look it up but it's so much easier to go to the knowledge pool here. On my load center (fuse panel) in the bathroom cabinet my normally green light under the Entegra logo is now flashing intermittent red. Steady flash, not coded. Green stays on but red flashes. What's this telling me? Burned fuse somewhere? ???

Hmmm... no response. Further, when we went to pull out the front shades would not go up. So, I'm assuming the there's a connection. Anyone had front shades that wouldn't go up?

When you "went to pull out", does that mean when your engine was running? Windshield night shades won't operate with the ignition switch on.

If an entire section won't function sometimes you can recycle a master switch and it will clear the issue.

Many I am sure have been waiting for an answer to the light problem. Have you checked the owners manual and located an answer yet?

Went thru the manual and there's no mention of the light.

Yeah, I realized that late last night. It was the first time we had ever started the engine before lifting the shades, duh, so there's the shade answer. Still trying to figure out the diagnostic light. I'll call CS tomorrow.

I guess there always has to be a first person to experience something...probably followed by a call to Entegra CS and a response something..."that's interesting, we haven't seen alot ofthat before..." Hope your answer comes soon.

I learned the shade issue the hard way. I called my dealer and was told the problem by the receptionist!

I have found that receptionists can be among the smartest people in the world...may not have had the opportunity for higher education, but the generally manage the world those who do.

So Vance...not a surprise

Have fun in Arkansas.
