Remote for 17 Anthem radio

Is there a remote or a way to shut off radio and backup camera? Doesn't seem right that its on all the time and need some info before talking to dealer.

Have you pushed the black knob on the left side of the screens? Thatís how itís turned on and off.

What I usually do is push on the DVD icon. That will at least make it quiet with no radio volume with GPS still functioning. I am sure there might be a proper way to turn off radio and I will follow this thread with interest.

I tried the volume knobby but get no movement or click, is that what you're referring to? Will try again this morning with key on.

Sounds like your knob is broken. It should move... turn for volume and push for on/off.

It will work with the key off.

Pull the knob off and push on the shaft to see if that works. If it does the knob is too far onto the shaft and is hitting the bezel too soon; the knob and shaft don't travel far when working correctly. If pushing the shaft directly doesn't work the volume/on/off pot is defective.

You can stuff a very small amount of something like tissue paper into the back of the knob so it will have more travel; use a toothpick or very small screwdriver to push it in firmly.

Just noticed that even when turned off I get this screen. I had thought that turning it off gets a black screen. Does anyone know of a way to turn this off?

Yes you can have it go totally dark when off. Not in the coach & going from memory, but you're looking for something like display, standby screen or sleep in the settings menu.

Dewey is correct, it is in the settings menu. Mine was off when I received my coach and I turned it back on. I like temperature when parked.
