We rented a 32' Class A for 2 weeks (RoadBear, in Las Vegas) and played around in southern Utah. Decided we liked the RV life. We then took a driving course before picking up our Entegra. California requires a class A or B license for vehicles over 40 feet. The training was definitely worth the cost.

Never drove a motorhome before I bought my first. I did have experience both before and during my military career driving large box trucks. I am trying to find a course for my wife to take. She is fine on interstates, highways, etc. She is not comfortable in city traffic, making turns, or backing.

When we did the Spartan training they included a driving course. It was worthwhile for sure. Amazing what we can all learn from a experienced instructor.

I really want to take this course, but all the dates I can make are full.

If you are down in FL, (wash my mouth out) but Lazy Days has a pretty good driving course. Good enough for 10% discount on insurance

Thanks all. Our thought is to rent a class a for 2 weeks or so ,try out the lifestyle but the 1st 2 days take a course so we are not totally clueless (and terrified) we love the Entegras and that is what we want to buy but the only rentals we can find are in Fort Lauderdale and the rental folks don't know of a course there
