JohnBoy, we ended up at Traders Village in Grand Prairie. Not too many choices around DFW with these larger rigs, and we were scrambling when the Vineyards Closed the day before our scheduled move in. Our house will be ready in early March, and we are ready for that. Our commute to Frankford and 35E from here is not bad. We miss Mansfield, but not the drive .
Hope to meet up some day - we plan to store the MH at NIRVC in Lewisville once we get in our house!

Has anyone thought about a way to add a removable flex tub to the end of the AH exhaust to get the fumes away from the coach. We like to have the bedroom windows open and the exhaust comes in when the wind is right. it would be nice to channel it to the back of the coach.

Better contact them right away, they stay pretty full, you may need to get on the waiting list. JMHO

Perhaps but it looks like it would just bring the exhaust closer to the window unless you extended it to the roof. I was thinking that a piece of aluminum flex tube could be just laid on the ground and trailed to the rear of the coach. The connection on to the exhaust would be the tricky part. Just some thoughts.

VenTuring will extend above roof if assembled correctly.

I believe everyone is talking about a Gen-Turi and not a VenTuri. Never heard of the latter. The former is a Camco product.
A Gen-Turi comes standard too short for our tall coaches. A friend of mine just bought their 18" extension (~$25 on Amazon) to get it to the top of his Anthem. I bought a piece of thinwall PVC pipe which slips over the end of the Gen-Turi provided pipe exactly and made it about 36" long and that puts it above the coach by a reasonable margin. Painted it black.
The problem is that you may also need a different special adapter to adapt the Gen-Turi to the AH exhaust pipe as it is a bigger OD than the typical 12 KW genny exhaust.
The problem with simply extending the exhaust pipe is that you are significantly increasing the back-pressure of the AH exhaust system with that additional length of corrigated pipe extension (which is what the Gen-Turi is designed to avoid). I would not do it until I talked with AH to see if they see that as a viable option.

There are several DIY Gen Turi's on the internet. They can be put together for any size exhaust needed and made as long as required. Most of them are made from PVC except for the exhaust end.
Asking AH first is a good idea on any exhaust extension.

I kind of figured back pressure would come into play. Oh well. I just don't want to die in my sleep because of AH fumes.

Winnebago runs the aqua hot exhaust to the rear bumper on my 13 Tour. It loops around the two rear axels. Prior years tour models were positioned similar to our ( my future) Anthem.

Do call AH and ask them what they recommend. if it is easy and OK, they will tell you that.
The Gen-Turi option is not a problem. They are available from lots of sources including Amazon for about $115. There is a larger metal adapter for larger size exhaust pipes beyond the 3 that come in the kit but I just don't remember what size they are. That might work. If you are the type that parks in one place for a while in contrast to moving every day or two, then the Gen-Turi on the AH is an easy and cheap solution. Once set up, it takes maybe 10 minutes to get set to operate and the same to take down and stow. I would have some problem with that for a one night Wal-Mart or rest stop stop but for a few days or more, that would not bother me at all. There is no back pressure. There is an air gap essentially at the end of the adapter that admits air and the heat of the exhaust exhausts the fumes and new cool air up the Gen-Turi pipe which does not get hot. With the addition of the extension, that puts the top of the Gen-Turi above the coach. The DW and I dont sleep with the windows open so we have had no need.
Chuck, the PVC does get hot and I would be reluctant to use PVC only at the bottom as I think it would get warm enough to distort. The Gen-Turi tubing is made for some heat and is quite sturdy. No part of the system is hot enough to burn.

I would venture that there would be no back pressure issues with the AH, as the Gen-Turi has a gap in the flow, and my AH 450D has been running just fine with the added back pressure provided by the baffle intended for the LP model.
