Okay, I have the washer in. Now to improve the dryer duct. Very tight in there. How did you all handle that?? My dryer duct box didn't fit flush enough to the wall....
thanks

in re-reading this thread I see that you enlarged your hole so that the hose was better lined up to go into the dryer. It looks like you used duct tape to cover where it was wood. I think that is the correct approach for me, although I think I need to cut about 8 to 12 inches. Did you leave that duct tape in place to cover your hole?
thanks
Van

I would get a small piece of panel and notch it out to slide over the dryer hose and cover the hole!

Van:
I used a 4” or 5” hole saw to cut the new hole and used the cut out to fixed the original hole with duct tape. Your pictures look like you need to get a piece of 1/8” panel board and cover up those holes. Then get a hole saw and cut a new hole to line up with your dryers exhaust vent. If you take careful measurements you can get close and any variance can be adjusted with the flexible duct hose.

I was wondering if a periscoping offset dryer duck would have worked in this application. They make them in various sizes. Just a thought

I tried the Periscoping duct but it was too deep....
I sealed up the hole now I need to re-secure both of them for driving.

All Entegra floor plans will now have dryer on a shelf, should make it easier to replace the washer.

Ray and JH, another question
Do you reuse the 2 brackets on top of the washing machine to secure the dryer to it? Just wondering about screwing into the top, don't want to hit any wires, etc.
I didn't want to reuse them but the dryer just slides around on the top otherwise.
thanks
