Slide the tray back and screw it back to the wood floor, making SURE you leave enough wood in front for the front lip of the tray to be screwed to the floor. Spray foam the front gap from underneath where the old cut out was and the sewer connection will line up. That is what Entegra did to fix mine.
Chuck, it seems to me that using spray foam to fill the gap left at the front of the tray would leave an unsightly, lumpy mess of a surface. Did they do something to restore the upper surface of the patch?

Marc, the upper surface is not touched. there is enough finished surface under the front lip of the fiberglass pan to re-attach the the front lip if you do not move the pan to far back. Entegra said 3/4 of an inch. The foam is only visible from underneath and it protects the cut that is already there. The third photo in the earlier post show the tray moved back. After I removed the white caulking you cannot tell the tray was moved. The only thing I lost was the inch between the hose reel and the pan. I was amazed that moving the pan that small amount lined the sewer connection with the sewer hose access.

Why not leave the cutout for the pan alone, and replace the pan with the hose hole drilled in the right location?

It is a molded pan with the hose location and screw in cover already in place and part of the mold.
