Or you could take the locals route to miss most of it. Hwy 27 out of Orlando to Bartow, or FT Meade. I prefer 98 over to Ft Meade( smaller town to go through), then south on 17 to I-75 missing all of the I-4 and I-75 traffic at Tampa and the construction south if Sarasota.

Also nice to see the real FL with orange groves rather the the back of semis. It's also about 1/2 an hour faster.

Now that is the WORST freeway system in America. I don't know of an RV'er that doesn't dread Atlanta.

After driving in Atlanta, wife now says I'm allowed drive into the Florida Keys again. I just have to promise to never drive through Atlanta EVER again.
