Roof inspection
An Entegra tech just called. He will arrive tomorrow morning to inspect my roof. Speculation is over, it is Entegra techs that will inspect our roofs. I don't know if he will also do the repair but will know tomorrow.
Unbelievable CS!

I had mine today. They add "improved" screws that have washer-type devices like roofing nails and then seal them. The tech said that he didn't notice any issues, but he didn't like the looks of the area around the bathroom skylight so he worked on that as well as the sidewall/roof seams.
Took about an hour with two guys.

I'll bet those techs are loving the great customer service of Entegra. It is currently 22 degrees and snowing in Middlebury. Thanks for the upgrade of what they are looking for.
Vance let us know if they find what has caused your previous leaks. It will help me to do a closer examination on mine. With the amount of snow mine has sat in, it should be thoroughly leaked check by now

I agree, tonight's low is forecast to be 49, tomorrow's high 80! They may chose to stay in Texas for a while!

While on the roof today I did notice rusty hardware on the girards and gasket attached to them. Attached is a picture of a rusted screw that popped its head.

Tom, yours is a brand new 2014, I am surprised it left the factory without the inspection problem taken care of. Would you do me a favor and asked them what the cutoff date from the factory was? I will call and ask about mine since it is still sitting in Entegra yard. Thanks

after thinking about the techs coming to inspect your new coach....I wonder if they are just milking FL and TX stays until IN warms up.

My Anthem failed the inspection this morning so the techs are doing the repair right now. Seems there was a period when an incorrect sealant tip was used leaving a bead that was too narrow and too thin. They are also adding screws on the perimeter of my roof. He said it will take about 2 hours.
Since I have had leaks they will also do a ceiling/insulation inspection.
Very impressive CS!

Thanks for that update Vance. Tom just took delivery of his MH the first of the year and they are also inspecting his. I put in a call to CS but they must be in a meeting, to see if mine (that may leave today?) needs to be checked before it leaves.. I am more concerned about the screws than the seam as the Eternabond will take care of that.

As they describe the correct sealant bead you may not need Eternabond. Mike described it as about 3" wide and almost 1/4" thick. (Holding fingers up)
