I'm a Safeco agent, full timer, in Alaska now, and have Safeco on my own coach.
While I'm a good driver, and don't have any 'claims' experience, at least on the coach, I've used them several times for glass damage repair and replacement. But, admittedly, I'm not sure that claims adjustments and payments differ dramatically between most any company.
For the question of pricing - I think you'll find that many people assume that buying through specialized companies or through groups might give you a better cost, the truth is that no price difference is allowed, regardless. The only difference in using a local 'agency', versus any other option, is what you perceive as experience and 'know-how' in writing specific policy coverage, such as on RVs, and large motorhomes especially. While there are some specialty agencies that handle motorhomes almost exclusively, the policy with Safeco, or any other company, is no different. It can't be, state laws don't allow it. The policy and rate that Safeco submits to your state are the same regardless 'who' sells you the policy.
