Corey, like you, I've often been tempted to buy an electric macerator system. Probably the biggest reasons that I haven't are first they are expensive and secondly think of the potential mess if they clog up or quit working. On my last coach (and soon to be delivered Entegra), I used the Sewer Solution Easy to install, no electrical connections, can pump over long distance and uphill, no mess. Like many systems, this one may not be for everyone but it works for me.

I have been using Sewer Solution on my coach for years and love it
Much better than the electric maserators, cheaper, and easier to use.
This is a "better mouse trap"

I had been using the Sewer Solution for over 12 years at my winter spot.
It worked OK as the sewer dump connection is up hill 30' plus from the MH.
Only con was the very slow empty and I had to replace one $$$ because of the weak tabs broke and also a hose that the UV got to it and had many leaks. And the hose got to stiff to wind it up in the MH to use on the road.
But this last fall I put in the Box Mount Sani-Con system in.
Found no con's with it yet. It empty's the tanks much faster and the flexible/stretch hose will be no problem to store and use on the road.
But on the road I will probably use the 3" slinky hose for a much faster empty.

Some people like the Sewer Solution so much that they've integrated it into their wet bay. Check this system out.

I had a sani con system on a previous coach and did not like it all that much. It was slow. potential for trouble with the pump etc. I do not find the 3 inch system to be burdensome and really do not mind dumping it so I am likley wierd anyway. For me, it just was not worth the extra cost and time involved in dumping it.

A agree with Ann N Gene. Never saw any problem with the slinky, except for the occasional RV park builder who thinks that s*** flows uphill. So why add cost/complexity unless you have a special situation that requires it?

I guess we have a special situation and that's why I went with the Sewer Solution. We frequently are in RV resorts where the views from the back of the site are gorgeous. But since the site is setup as a backin, the only view we get is of the street. I carry 30+ feet of extra SS hose so I can pull into the site and still reach the sewer drop. Try that with the slinky.

Were you able to use the screw on model or did you need the box with extension?

Had the Sani-Con system in my last coach and loved it. Only thing I didn't like was the discharge flex hose seemed to want to spring a leak every summer, but loved the way it coiled up. On the Cornerstone I went with the Clean Dump system because the discharge hose is much more hardy. Either way, they are very similar being they use basically the same macerators. I will never go back to a 3" hose again. Advantages of the macerator system is it's clean, the ends have shut off valves shutting off all liquids from dripping in your bay causing odors and it fits neatly in the compartment. Cons? Honestly I haven't found any, I guess if you wanted to be picky you could say it takes a minute or more to empty the tanks being it is pumped, but taking an extra minute to empty the tanks is not a problem with me considering I don't have to fool with those nasty 3" hoses...

I use clean dump and have found it to be a much easier way to service the tanks. The blank tank takes a little longer to empty but it is worth it.
