Sat Receiver Install on an Anthem

When installing your receiver (in my case a VIP 211) in your bedroom cabinet, you likely find that the remote won't work with the installed "eye" on the right top of the TV.

Solution: there is a black box on the right side panel behind the TV it has one wire already running to the TV with a "bead on the end that send the remote signal to the eye on the front of the TV receiver.

There is a second wire. Look for it, unwind it, take the adhesive off and stick it in the vcnty of your satellite receiver "eye". Walla, you'll now have remote from anyplace in the room.

Hope this helps those of you who have been fumbling with the remote like I have. If not, disregard, and chalk it up to "I shoulda known".
