The in motion is both dish and direct(dip switch settings) but HD on dish only.

In the owners manual of the wineguard in motion satellite systems is the dip switch settings for either dish or direct.. pending on your service you gotta climb up there and take the dome off and switch the little tabs.. I think it's from the factory set on direct tv
I know I have direct and no hd ,
U gotta have the travler satellite for that.

Butch, you are going to have to look. It could have an in motion dome or a Wineguard Traveler satellite dish which are provider specific. If you have a sat switch in the inverter panel cabinet above the passenger seat, you have a dome. If you have a Wineguard control box in the entertainment cabinet, you have a Traveler.

My 2014 has a Traveler and no dome. Entegra does not install both, but the previous owner may have.

Do you have to raise your antenna to use it and lower it to travel?

If not you have a dome and can use any provider by changing the settings, but you will not get HD signals using Directv, only standard definition.

If the answer was yes then you have a Travler. They were set up for Directv only unless special ordered for Dish or Shaw. They will get HD signals regardless of the satellite provider.

It came with the in motion dome. If you want Dish you need to switch dip switches. The entegra link is below

Butch, I notice in your profile you have a Cornerstone. It would really help if you would put that in your sig line so we know what model of MH you are asking questions about. Some of us sometimes miss it in the title...I know I do.

"Most" Cornerstone were ordered with the upgraded Traveler Satellite Dish. In 2014 they were installing "only" Direct TV Travelers.....however I did get one for DISH after they told me I could not get it. I changed home satellite companies only to find when the MH arrived I did have DISH instead to Direct TV. That was a mess! Thankfully my 2 year contract just ended and I am back to DISH both in the S&B and the MH.

I does pay to verify what's on the roof before getting into a 2 year contract....I made that mistake.
