Sharing the importants of side turn signals.

One of my High School buddies is a 38 year retired LAPD officer. He had asked me what I had been doing to the new MH, so I sent him the 2019 turn signal mod post link in our emails.

Here is a copy and paste from his email of true life experiences. Personally, I won't drive mine without side turn signals I have had too many close calls.

"Those turn signals toward the rear side of a unit are important. I handled a T/C where the semi had to turn right a ways from the right curb. A stupid broad cuts between his rig and the curb. She got her car squished between the rig and the utility pole. The pole and the rig were fine. The car? Not so much…… A woman who did a lot of riding some years ago saw a semi on a country road where he could turn right or left. She assumed he would go right, so she pulls up next to his cab. He turns left and his set of doubles rolled over her and the bike. She was in a hospital for a year. Not sure if turn signals would help the stupid people, but………."

Some mods are niceties, this one, along with some others are on my short list as must haves.
Thanks for “showing the way”.
Sorry, couldn’t resist.
