Should I be concerned??

While my Aqua Hot pumps were being changed I took a closer look at my house batteries. They appear to be maintenance free rather than AGM that I thought came standard on the 2015 Anthem. Notice the caps and the model number.

Sorry for the upside down photo. Can't seem to rotate it.

In our '02 Dutch Star our wet cell deep cycle batteries went 10 years. No maintenance batteries should last as long unless they're starting batteries.

The forum is kind of "picky" about the photos. I've run into the same rotation problems.

I believe you may still have AGMs. Some AGMs, such as the Discovery brand, use a standard casing but install vents rather than removable caps. Battery cases do need venting (even AGMs) to allow for thermal expansion and contraction. Perhaps a Google search of the battery model number would verify that.

The model number EVGC6A-B indicates they are AGM's.

Don't I feel stupid. As usual this forum comes through again. I had actually gone to the Discovery web site and somehow read dry cell to mean wet cell. I need to stop using the internet late at night when I don't comprehend what I'm reading. One less thing to worry about. Thanks all.
