The grout in the shower walls pose a problem for wax.

I found last year how easy the resin beads are to change and I will be doing that every few years now.

In a water softener system the salts purpose is to re ionize the resin beads as the soften the water by attracting the mineral ions. The regeneration process does this salt is salt for this purpose. Rock salt will work nicely also but in the Motor home world lugging xtra 50/100# stinks. Couple boxes kosher salt will do nicely

Squeegee for me after every use, then elbow grease and glass cleaner when needed.

I'll have to give RainX a try.

We use a squeegee every day and run over the glass, floor and tile about once a week with a Magic Eraser. It works perfectly. We also sealed the grout with standard grout sealant from Home Depot - we even sealed the grout in the floors and kitchen backsplash.

We're going to try RainX on the glass.

DW used a product called Enduroshield. Ceramic & Glass Coating | Grout Sealer | Protective Coatings. It causes the water to run off similar to rain-x but is supposed to last a long time. So far it has certainly minimized cleaning effort. It has been about three months on now and still working the same as just after application.

1/2cup of heated vinegar, mix heated vinegar w/ 1/2 cup of New Dawn dish detergent, put mixture in a spray bottle spray doors and wall with mixture, lightly wipe with netted scrubbie and rinse. Use a squeegee after rinsing or dry it down with a towel. Use the mixture every 2 weeks. In between appliecs just use a squeegee.

We use rain x windshield wash, put it on a spray bottle spray it on squeegee it off. After a few applications you will notice a big difference but be careful it can make the floor slippery.

We use Rain-X on the entire shower, it helps shed water. We also squeegee and towel it off, Rain-X makes it easier.

Using a On the Go Water Softener. Also using liquid bath soaps. All I do after a shower is rinse the walls and glass with the hot water prior to getting out to get any soap residue off. Every few weeks, I spray it with a product call "Kaboom", let it sit for a couple of minutes and scrub it lightly with a plastic scrubbing pad. Seems to do the trick.

We use the Rain-X glass cleaner already in a spray bottle. I think it's in automotive also.
