Does anyone know if those lines are generated by the Camera, Video buss or the monitor?

You cannot believe the number of times we have said the same thing regarding our 02 Travel Supreme. Nice clear B/U camera that I could see the details behind me like the tow brake light I install on the dash when towing. I cannot see that with the new camera, but I can see the entire countryside behind me, including both side of the Interstate. Not to mention many other items.

On the Voyager monitor, the lines are in the monitor and can be turned on and off.

Thanks.

Turn overhead TV on and set "source" to AVI
On the GPS screen, select mode then settings. There are 3 page. One of the choice I think it's on page 2 is named "remote AVI" select GPS and the GPS will show on the overhead TV.

What's it going to take to improve things? My main concern is a better view through the rear camera. A new camera, new monitor, new video buss - or all of the above? I don't think any of my stuff is defective, it all works.... poorly.

If replacing the rear camera, how about what is in the 2013's? Anyone know make and model of that one?

It is a voyager camera. The problem is if you use that camera, it is motorized. The voyager monitor has controls to control the up and down movement.
Also it would have to be completely rewired to handle the motorization. The 2013 and earlier systems have a 5 wire cable running from the front to the back. The 2014 and newer coaches have a 4 wire cable.

I don't need the motorization. The Voyager on my previous MH was not motorized. Yet the picture, day & night - especially night, was an order of magnitude better.

Side camera's
For what it is worth, when I was in Middletown this August there were several coaches there with the purple trees/bushes and pretty much useless side cameras. Service tried replacing both side cameras on one of the coaches and it was the same. I showed mine to service and they said the manufacturer was working on a fix so there was no point in doing anything with mine, which I fully agree with. They said they would let me know when there was a fix. They are aware of the issue, but I have not heard anything further.

How about the bigger question. Why the change from Voyager, was it strictly a cost savings or something else?
