Slide out issue

I have had trouble retracting the passenger front slide three times. It will extend but won't retract. The two other times this occurred I was able to pull out the return wire connection in the electrician compartment in the front driver side compartment and plug it back in and it has worked. Unfortunately this time I have not been able to get it to operate. It is about one foot from being fully retracted now. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

What's the situation - are you level, at ride height, or something else? Can you re-extend it and try again?

RV is at ride height and on a level surface. It will extend. Just won't retract.

If the answer is yes try the 12.5 amp breaker for the Driver side S/O and see if it will bring it in or swap one of the other 5 amp breakers to test might just be the breaker is weak

I had this to happen with the DS slide. CS told me to give it a rest for a few minutes and try it. The relay gets hot and trips. After a couple minutes it will reset itself.

If I remember correctly from Anthem days, you can go to a larger fuse (20A max) and it will allow more power to motors which are all the same. This can help if something is in a little bind at some point in the pulling in of the slide. I did this at their direction with the vanity slide (my screw up got it jammed) and it worked.

Chad, not sure if you have the Power Gear system or not on the 2014's. If so, I have had a continuing problem with mine. The fix for me has been to remove the switch from the malfunctioning slide, pictured below, from the system and the slide works fine either from the multiplex switch, the remote, or, if you have it, the iPad. Simply remove the 2 screws and unplug it. These are located in the electrical compartment, just below the DS. Hope this helps.

Don with CS did a great job. They shipped me a new slide electrical board that is in the electrical compartment below the drivers seat. Replaced the board and now everything works. Wanted to post in case others experience similar problem.
