Slide Toppers

My D/S rear (bed) slide toppers tension appears loose and does some flagging in the wind. Can the tension be adjusted to resolve this issue?

I could retension mine by pulling the topper material out more and then allowing the spring to return it back on to the roll. Easier with 2 people, but I have done it by myself as well
