Slight odor ??

Noticed while we use the rear bath vent fan on our 17 Anthem RBQ we are drawing a slight odor coming from our washer/dryer area. Anyone have any thoughts on this ?

Thanks !!

If only detectable when the fan is running I would check to see if you have an inline vent. If so, maybe remove and plug and run your fan to see if you still have an odor or replace the vent valve. They cost less than $6 at a HomeDepot or similar store. If you do not have an inline vent, make sure there is water in the drain trap. In both situations you may be pulling air from the Gray Holding Tank.

Several posts on that subject. The fix is to pull the washing machine drain hose out, measure for the drain hose to be 4 inches above the "P" trap and cut the hose off. I sealed the top of my drain pipe with plumbers putty as advised by Entegra. Others say there was no need to. However it ended all smells coming from the laundry area.
