Small Water Leak

In being plagued by a small water leak on my 2015 Anthem on the 1/8-inch PEX line that leads from the drinking water filter through the back wall. I've replaced the fitting twice and it continues to drip. It's dripping at the 1/8-PEX side, push fitting. I've purchased a brass fitting, but haven't installed it yet. I'd like to see if any others had had the same leak. My concern is using a compression fitting on the PEX line. See my photos.
Thanks,

Not sure if they make Sharkbite fittings that small, but if so I'd use them.

Pull the fitting apart and look at the hose end. They really need to be cleanly cut at 90 degrees. If it looks ragged, cut it fresh.

Good idea! A PVC cutter works prefect to make the square end cut.

What I’ve done for persistent drips is too first make sure that my connections are clean and not cross threaded. If this looks good, then I’ll take and do this. Take and do a couple to three raps of Teflon tape and the add a dap of some plastic thread sealant. Has always worked to help stop a small persistent drip. It will also stay playable to the point that you can take the connection a part again if needed....Good luck!

the push connector is a strange critter. Best if they are tied down to prevent movement when the vehicle is moving. First common mistake is that the pipe needs to be seated all the way into the push connector, got to really jamb it in there. 2nd is that the end cut is not square. Lastly, I notice no clips to lock the push connector. I'd go with this..... https://www.amazon.com/Watts-P-601-C...52858394&psc=1

Good advice, but I did cut the 1/8 inch PEX with PEX cutters, perfectly square, and it is pushed all the way in tightly, and the thread are Teflon wrapped. My fitting needs 1/4 inch threads on the other side. I'll shut off the water this morning and install the brass compression fitting. Wish me luck.

FIXED YES! It wasn't easy, but the brass fitting finally sealed the 1/8-inch PEX. I really had to crank the compression fitting down a lot tighter than expected.
Time for a cocktail.

That particular fitting has dripped a time or three on mine over the years. Usually disassembly and assembly fixed it. I think I replaced it once. I always felt it was a time bomb, and would check it daily after messing with it.
