I had the privileged of Ted Cook showing me some of the updates to the 2019's that I might share.

The Vega touch has been totally upgraded and now can be updated via wifi. No more exchanging the unit.
Additional apps are $15. instead of $100. Loading the app is QC code scan and go.
Each shade is now individually controlled. No more all one side of the coach or nothing.
Air conditioning over ride if the VT should lock up. If any of these are not new, bare with me, I do not know anything about the Vega touch.

The GPS unit is now under the package tray on the P/S dash for cooling from the dash AC ducts. Also allows for easy access to the SD card for easy updates.

The grass cloth for the level looking floor was not well received and may go back to carpet, or maybe buyers choice, not sure, but I was told I could have carpet.

That’s where the ‘18 GPS is located. I bet he just said easy access and didn’t pull the card out to show you. The box is under a thick rat’s nest of wires, the slot is at the bottom of the box. It’s accessible but I wouldn’t say “easy access.”

We also have AC bypasses over the door.

What floor plan did you order?

Does anyone else have information or an opinion on the grass cloth (replacing carpet)...from the images it looks cheap and not inviting. We have a 2019 on order and I am really on the fence about the appearance.

Great report. Ted has been pretty busy. Nice you were able to corner him. We noticed how dirty the new flooring was getting. Not sure how easy it will be to keep clean. I often think that very little thought goes towards us, the end users. We saw towel rings in one of the models about 5" off the counter. Not sure what they had thought would fit on that.

I have this type flooring material on my tritoon. Durable outside material. Cleans up well with a pressure washer. Would not want it in a motorhome

My husband and I didn't like the new floor covering at all! It looked really cheap and could easily be lifted up and you seen unfinished wood under it.

Tim, when Amy & I were closing in on ordering our 2018 45B, I noticed all of the 45B's I saw online and in person had the aft bath towel rings mounted as you described. A less than stellar design decision to say the least.

I requested the towels ring not be mounted but supplied to us in their original boxes. To Entegra's credit, they honored that request.

Right , I can't get my fat fingers in there to retrieve the SD card, but DW can. We also have A/C bypass switches over the door but they are simple on-off switches.

It seems like we can operate almost every shade individually with the exception of the 2 windows next to the bed and the passenger side window behind the entry door. I could be wrong but it's never really been a problem. Of course we have the rocker switches on the driver and passenger armrests.

I like the idea of the upgraded VegaTouch. I wonder if it is backwards compatible.
