Sound Bar
We just picked up our 2018 Entegra Aspire 44b this last Tuesday. Somehow we have managed to lose the sound from the bedroom TV going through the sound bar. I can make the sound come out of the speakers built into the TV but have tried everything I can think of to get the sound bar working again. Any ideas?

Nice coach!
Someone with an Aspire will probably post with better info, until then.
It is difficult on one of my sound bars to tell if the power is on or not, no indicator light. After pushing the "on" button on the sound bar remote I have to wait a few seconds to let the sound bar and TV sync, then raise the volume on the sound bar with the remote until I can tell it is working.
On my sound bars there are no settings to be changed to make them sync. If mine have power and the Optic cable is properly plugged in at both ends , they work.
It is probably something simple... once you know what it is.

My sound bar at least has a light so I know it is turned on. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the cable but that didn’t help.

Use the TV remote and go into the TV settings.
Find the setting for sound and set the sound output to be external speakers.

Walter, you might try connecting the sound bar to a different TV (in the coach or in your house if you're not a full-timer), just to confirm the sound bar actually works. I believe it's unlikely the sound bar has died, but it wouldn't hurt to verify it actually does work.
Also, try changing the TV to different input sources - over the air, cable (if you're at a park or house that has cable), satellite, etc. I recall a couple of years ago, I was experimenting with different sound bars in a previous motorhome and figured out (the hard way of course) that not all sound bars work with all input sources.

Much like the TV, the soundbar also has different source options. Press the source button slowly, passing through the various inputs, to see if you can get the desired output.

Our '17 has a sound bar remote; are you using that?

LIGHT?
The sound bars in the Aspires are reversed.
Light on means it's OFF no Light means its on. Weird huh?
You have to use your sound bar remote and make sure the input is DI (Digital) at least that is how mine is.

And the winner is...
That is weird. We assumed that the red light ment it was on. Thanks for the great help. The TV certainly sounds better through the sound bar.

Yeah, not very intuitive. Took me awhile on my Samsung sound bars.

The 2018 Anthem is the same - the light is opposite from what you would expect.
