Good luck Mike! No falling off the roof. If its not the condensate pumps or the condenser fan, it's only 4 more bolts (I think) to get the gray cover off for the interior blower. Mine was loaded with construction debris under there. Trip the breakers before you take anything apart, that condenser fan can probably shorten your fingers.

The tech came and the problem was with LDs electrical service. Tripped breakers on a shared panel. Asked him about the noise and he said it could be foil or styrofoam in ducts from construction. I don't know.

The foil tape that Entegra is using to seal up around the vents is not sticking. For me the noise was louder in certain ducts. I pulled those ducts and found the tape flapping. Secured the tape and no more noise.

I can tell you exactly what a flock of geese flying overhead sounds like and I've never heard a sound like that from an Air Conditioner... If you like I can set up a microphone and make a recording later today or tomorrow.. (In my case it is a genuine flock of geese). Seriously.

To the topic. I have never seen a lub port on a RV A/C Blower motor but.. Perhaps that is what it needs. Clean and if possible lube would be my recommendation. Clean in any case.

Exhaust ducts. If this is your problem, and I bet it is, you will hear it more from certain ducts. While the air conditioner is running, pull the register and feel up in the duct, you will feel the loose tape. Put your hand on the tape and the noise stops!

I guess my #1 AC heard me talking bad about it. Now it is tripping the breaker and won't stay on. Its the AC's way of telling me that's one way to not hear the squeaking anymore. Any thoughts?

Same here, in at least one case though my arms were way too short and I could only reach the loose tape from the roof by removing the squirrel cage blower under the gray cover (not hard).

It appears that this noise is coming from the condensate pump. The folks at LD are saying "How do we fix something that is working exactly as it came from the manufacturer?" Until the supplier realizes that they have an issue and get enough complaints from their customers (Entegra), nothing will get done. In order to get action on this, we are going to have to call CS and complain.

I guess with me being hard of hearing and the DW having the Bose cranked up most of the time. we haven't heard any noise yet. Thanks for the update.
