Just a quick note as I am a new member.
My wife and I attended the Spartan Academy last week and were pleasantly surprised with the caliber and dedication of the crew at Spartan. I would highly recommend this class to anyone to gain a basic understanding of their chassis not to mention the quality of the service .

Welcome and they are exceptional, never had anyone throughly inspect our Coach or any product for warranty issues like they do! Have taken Coach there for yearly maintenance two years running even though it’s 2,800 miles round trip.

Agree. We also sat in on this past weeks class while having annual maintenance, and it was just as great as the first time we took it back in 2015. Food was amazing, and Big Mike was totally on-point as usual. Heading to Homecoming soon!

I pick up my coach in June or July and hoping to get in a class on the way back. Most seem to be Entegra owner specific . Are the classes mixed ? Sounds like a great class.

Hi Motoman,

Welcome to the forum.

We took delivery of our 2018 Anthem in February and are registered for the class June 4th - 8th.

Did you receive, ahead of the class, any info regarding a schedule of events? All I have received is the start time.

Also, what time on Friday is the class finished?

They are some that are Entegra Specific ... but that just means that one day is devoted to PJ from Entegra. There are other classes that aren't a specific make and a lot of Newmar owners attend them. Now that Newmar is putting more coaches on a Spartan chassis ... probably will be Newmar specific next year (my guess anyway).

No matter what brand of coach you have, if you have a Spartan chassis .. highly recommend not only the original class, but the advance class a year later as well. Lynn

For those who have done the advanced class, what is covered? Is it the same but in more detail or completely new topics? Maybe most important....is the food as good, do I need to go on a diet?

Go on a diet a week before the class. I feel so fat from the last week! 😄

Advanced class is 3 days instead of 5. Some of the stuff covered is the same, but in more detail. Recommend taking it a year or so after the first one. Food is fantastic- even better than the first class, if you ask me!

X2 on all comments. For those who arrive in the area early, some of the sites were empty Friday afternoon, and the rest of us left on Saturday. Name tags for the next class's sites were up by noon on Friday. Motoman, see you at Stoneridge!

We will also be there August 27-31. This will be our first trip to Spartan and I am looking forward to it. Was not able to go in the past because of work but I retire June 1st....yay. I am looking forward to their inspection and comments on my front end drift. I have replaced shocks, added the safe t plus, front end alignment etc. and while it is remarkably better, it still drifts back and forth while driving.
