Spartan Classes

Has anyone taken the Spartan classes in Michigan? I'd be curious as to whether or not this was a another reason to consider Entegra over any other brand that did not use the Spartan chassis.

Yep....did the class three years ago when we bought our TS Supreme. Best money I've spent for education. Good hands on experience from the guys who build this great chassis we're riding on. The time spent in the pit under your coach with a technician is worth the cost of the whole two or three days you're there. Plus, weighing your coach on all four corners and all three axles (if you have a TAG) gives you the certainty you need when airing up your tires that you're riding most comfortably and safely. Oh yeah, they also feed you REALLY well!

Thanks Al. I've done Camp Freightlliner with our current unit and I was wondering if the Spartan class was worthwhile if we go the route of a new unit with a Spartan Chassis. Camp Freightliner we well worth both the cost and the time and the Spartan Classes look like a winner.

Yes, did that last year and found it to be very informative and worthwhile. I only wish there would be something like that for the house side of the coach.

That would be a great idea for a business for someone. Classes on how to use what's on the house side of our beasts would be a great addition to RVing.

Could someone share the cost of the Spartan classes, how long they are, do you need a reservation and is the factory the only place that you can take
them ??

Thank you

Suggested this very thing to Joyce last week ...perhaps as a part of a factory delivery option (with a cost of course) like Newmar evidently does. Got a Corvette that way once in Bowling Green (although it is done in conjunction with a local dealer and the Corvette Museum in that case).

Dave, that would be a great idea if they would do it. This would also alleviate the confusion when Entegra makes changes and the dealers aren't aware of the changes and how the customer should respond. I would love to see them add that to their final work on a unit. It could also include testing each component to make sure they all work before delivery.

Iquailhunter I registered for the training in August. I think cost was $950.

You can save $75 if you are a member of the SCIC (Spartan Chassis) chapter of FMCA.

Went last year. Worth every penny. The DW even stayed awake and enjoyed it.
