Spartan K-3GT Chassis
I had heard that Newmar is no longer using the Spartan K-3GT chassis on the King Aire do you think that Entegra may start using it in the Cornerstone in 2018

No, I guess anything could happen, but if ENTEGRA wanted to spend the money on that chassis they would have been using it. It's not proprietary to Newmar. Noel

Entegra, American and now Newmar add (or have Spartan/Freightliner add) their own stiffening structure to the chassis they purchase, including the K3, making the standard cross bracing in the K3GT superfluous. (Which is why Newmar no longer specs the GT for the King Aire)

False, the K3GT is still being used for 2017 King Aires according to Newmar website:

Might be a typo. The Spartan 2017 documentation now calls it the K3/600 and lists all of the ISX600's with the he same 'chassis'. But if you look at the rail specs the KA is beefier than the next levels downwards. Don't ya just love marketing... http://www.spartanchassis.com/rv/dow...wmar_Specs.pdf
It will be interesting to see the Entegra Spartan specs and compare the rail setups.
And here's the Entegra version

Sometimes they never get corrected, but "usually" the better builders like Newmar and EC will eventually get their facts straight.

The Spartan specs also show the King Aire continuing to have a 200 gallon fuel tank instead of 150 gallons. 350 amp alternator vs. 210 amp.

When we were at Newmar last summer, beginning the process of ordering our London Aire, I pointed out some errors/inconstancies in what was posted on-line. What I pointed out was corrected immediately. Seems marketing and engineering/product design have some ongoing communication issues.
