Hadley Manifold recall?? Do you have a recall# because we didn’t receive any notice with same year Cornerstone coach. And what was wrong with your Stemco hub seals? How did you know your air dryer had a leak?
Thanks in advance.

Gotta say. I traded in my Renegade a few weeks ago after 2 years and 30K miles and ZERO issues on a 2019 Cornerstone and am wondering, after reading all the posts here, if a Spartan was the wrong way to go. Having a little buyers remorse right now.

I'm on my 3rd Spartan with only a few vendor problems in 15 years. My Chevy PU had 6 recalls in the first 6 months. I don't worry about it until it happens.

I had my surge tank changed due to the rust on the inside of the neck. But how bad was your hydraulic reservoir? Was it rusted on the inside, outside or both? Was it Spartan that found he rust or was it you? We have our last inspection, on the chassis, coming up and if rusted I want the reservoir replaced under warranty.

Must have been run flat. Sorry that's a bummer especially the first trip.
Did road service come out and put a new tire on?

Wow! I can imagine you might be! What did the tire monitors tell you about that tire?

Did you have any body damage when tire came off?

Being it was my maiden voyage, I watched them like a hawk. Both PSI and temp. A few seconds before this, it was normal......until it wasn’t. I think the tire spun off the rim. Traveling on the turnpike and hit nothing. Scary.

Just a one inch piece of inner wheel well where the bolt support of the fender is (was).

So sorry to see that you had a problem so early in your ownership experience.

In fairness, a tire failure could happen to any coach, regardless of tire brand or chassis manufacturer.

I don’t automatically see a tire failure as being something Spartan is responsible for. The exception would be if something were improperly installed.

Here are some questions that might help identify some constructive measures moving forward:

Did you notice the failure immediately? Ordinarily, a TPMS would alert a driver to a sudden loss of pressure.

I believe the 2019 CS should have been equipped from Spartan with the Valor TPMS Entegra specifies.

Did you get any alerts?

I know you mention a 2019 CS 45X in your ABOUT ME bio. When you get a moment it is helpful to add that info into your signature, which automatically attaches to each post.

Again, I’m very sorry to hear about your tire issue. Keep the faith and things will get better, Entegra and Spartan have consistently been great to us over the last 2 years.

Best Regards,

-Matt

Hey Matt,
I am in no way blaming Spartan for the failure. It is a mystery or maybe just a freak of nature that just happened. Spartan was very responsive and I truly appreciate their attention and help in the ordeal. My ‘19 does have Valor, and I just happened to be watching it very closely because of a signal error that is being researched that causes my outer drive tires to read 188Lbs and 401 degrees. They are working on that. Nevertheless, it went from normal pressure and temp to no tire in the blink of an eye. Again, Spartan has been a great help and very responsive.

I’m glad you’re happy with Spartan.

Thanks for filling in more info. You will find that when someone has a tire failure, we all sit up and pay attention.

I’m glad Spartan has been helpful. These beasts are very complex and without solid factory backing, we’d all be in a bind.

I wouldn’t worry about either Spartan or Entegra, as we’ve had a few adventures and they’ve consistently been there for us.

I’m happy to see you’re experiencing the same support we had.

-Matt
