In Northwest Louisiana, one of the sayings on every 5th billboard (and TV commercial) is: “One call, that’s all!!” And then 3 or four normal, nice looking people (probably actors) who say “Morris got me 475,000 dollars”, and “Morris get me 150,000 for my accident!!!” And so it goes.... and he is being beaten up by 2 other guys who say they can do it better than he can!

I’m amazed our annual premiums are not a lot worse than they are!

It looks like the hurricanes are effecting us in other area beside MH insurance. I just received the renewal for one of my Umbrella Liability policies which also gives me $1M on my MH, "Territory Factor $91.35" It looks as if the insurance companies had to pay out, they are going to continue to pile up anywhere they can......hate to say it, but it ain't over yet.

If you like your low rates, don't move to FL to get out of the snow unless you are ready to pay for it.

The wildfires were still burning here and the lawyers all moved in and started advertising for people to sue the power company. The cause of the fires are still under investigation as to cause.

Funny how out West we’re bombarded with in a wreck, need a check or stuff about aliens at every turn of the channel and during our travels to the East we stared seeing the same stuff. I guess TV loves these guys. But in reality it’s passed on to us via higher premiums.

Our renewal rates went up $1500 just after the Harvey hurricane.......called around and every agent that answered said the rates were jacked because of HH.....well I opened the phone book and called a broker and she got me a better rate with Auto Owners than anyone else.....I was floored.....needless to say I will be staying with her and get FT insurance from Foremost this summer.....IF YOU PAY IT.........THEY WILL TAKE IT!!!
