Spent the day touring front line 2016's @ LD

Karen and I spent the day touring front line and just delivered 2016's at LD. 60% of the new MH's at LD are Entegra's! I have to say the 2016's are being delivered in much better condition than mine was. That was a pleasure to see. The 2016's. have the same maker/turn signals I just bought at Pilot/Flying J.


If you have purchased a 2016, do check your basement door latches. Apparently that problem has not been addressed at QC yet. This was a coach that just came in on delivery. If these photos are not showing up, please let me know.



Over all the 2016's came in with nice paint jobs, good fit and finish and are not being pushed out the door like mine was.

These doors are a disaster waiting to happen! This latching system is the weak link at Entegra that will keep me from buying a new one.

Anyone else or is it just a few? Something is not right, they did post before and now some are having problems viewing the photos.

Dang I wish I could make it to lazydays this week . Your photos did not show up for me. I want to know what to look for on my storage doors. We were goimg to try to make it down next weekend but cant because of my mother and my mother inlaws health issues, on top of the fact we have no major issues(with the motorhome).we will not be down durring the winter season if we can help it, so I will probably try to talk you into returning to LD in the spring or visiting the big bend this winter.

One of the cargo bay doors was duct taped shut by the delivery driver. Thankfully no damage to the door. The adjustment still need to be checked on 2016 cargo doors, they still come open from what I saw. The adjustments I made and posted with photos on mine made the 9,000 mile trip this summer over numerous curvy mountain passes with no doors coming open. It was 1maniac that came up with the fix, I just took the photos when I did mine. It worked great.

I don't blame you for not wanting to come down this winter.....we made reservations 2 months ago, but there are no openings at the Crown Club upon our arrival. Snowbird season has started early.

I will work on the photo posting again when I get home. It was working before, I don't know what happened, but it doesn't work now.

Chuck, I can't see you pictures either. Keep in mind what I told you about available server space.

I've been closing mine normally and not babying them. Give them a good push from the fully open position and let them fly. After reading about the past issues and the need to baby them and close them carefully I was testing them and they seem to be quite problem-free. It is the same basic design but it looks like the brackets are different from the neighboring 2015 Cornerstone that we looked at last week while parked at the Spartan class and possibly a larger diameter rod, but still the same general design with a bit different geometry. Naturally, they have to be adjusted correctly in the first place but mine are passing the test with flying colors.

Glad there are no problems with your door and I am sure many are leaving the factory adjusted correctly. However, I did see one that was still adjusted the "old way" and held together with duct tape upon delivery. Just wanted to let new 2016 owners know to check the doors on delivery. Finding out at a fuel island is not an enjoyable experience for a new owner.

I don't baby my doors either and no problems. I did check the latch screws for tightness at about 5,000 miles and they were fine. I think I may have used lock tight on my screws after the adjustments.
