Sprinkler water spots on Chrome

Love when Site has grass (especially for Lenny and Lola) but last two campgrounds had overspraying sprinklers

So now have water spots on my chrome.

Hoping one of you has a quick and easy water spot removal method (besides trying to convince DW she could use some polishing practice)

Any and all suggestions welcome!

Vinegar and water in a spray bottle, let it sit for a minute so the vinegar can do it's thing. If you want a commercial product, Meguires sells a spray on "water spot remover" availabe at most auto parts stores.

I spray on just straight vinegar. Buy it by the gallon. My boat stays at Lake Travis. After a day of boating, water spots are all over it. I spray on the vinegar, let it sit a while and then wipe off. Boat looks like it is brand new.

If it's chrome on metal and not plastic then 0000 steel wool and a little light rubbing will have it shining like new. Works great on glass too! Learned from a very experienced detailer!

Ran into this and we now carry cheap plastic plates and drive them into the ground vertically by the sprinkler head to act as guards. Yes we take care as to not disrupt the underground piping. Some campgrounds use well/reservoir water for the grass which can be very hard leaving nasty spots all over the lower half of the rig.
Bitter sweet fact of some campgrounds.
Getting it off as soon as possible is best, and can be done safely with vinegar and time.

I carry a bottle of Mother's Chrome Polish. This stuff works great yet harms nothing. I use it on chrome, plastic chrome and even the water spots on tinted glass windows. Takes them right off with minimal effort and never leaves scratches.
