Starting Motor When Level
When you are leveled out at camp site can you run the motor without messing up the equalizer leveling? Will the coach air up and you have to relevel everything?
Thanks
Pat

What Gary said.
On my coach the air bags don't inflate until I press "All Retract" on the Equalizer pad (after the engine has been running for a few minutes and the pressure gauges are showing pressure of 100 psi or more). If I shut the engine off without pressing "All Retract" the coach is not on the airbags.
When I'm running the engine because I've been parked for a lengthy time (more than a month perhaps) I go through the whole process of retracting the jacks, allowing the coach to air up and then re-leveling.

Just something to think about. In the Spartan Training classes, they recommend, if you are going to be stationary for a time, to actually start the engine and take the coach out to stretch it's legs, actually getting it up to operating temp ... around a 30 minute drive, once a month! I know most snowbirds probably don't, and I've been known to sit for two months, myself, but - this is what is recommended by Spartan for the engine and the tires. Gets all the fluids actually moving through the system. Also need to run your generator with a load once every month or so as well.
