I installed Emergency Hammers/Seatbelt Cutters just for this reason. A cheap safety item with easy access. I even placed them in the center console of the toad. In my previous 30 year career as a CHP officer, I have on numerous occasions had to cut the seatbelt of an accident victim in order to extricate them from the vehicle. When seconds count, this is the last thing you need to be worried about.

These are available (just like everything else) on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks, we just ordered ours....

We have Tyron. They give you the tool for roadside assistance and replacement. I’ve read where dealers forget to give the tool upon purchase creating problems. Fortunately, we haven’t had to test them. We have a 45’ Cornerstone with the 365 front tires. I’m also having the Safe-T-Plus installed during my next service. We had that product on our last rig, loved the stability on windy days..... my two cents.

Stay safe everyone!

Talk about Scary. I couldn't imagine what would have happened if I had had my baby in that coach... When we were shopping recently, we highly considered another class a, and one of my main factors to not obtaining one was what happens to the area aft of the cab in a rollover.

I suppose all driving is dangerous regardless of the vehicle you're in, but I once saw an accident where a class C rolled over, with 2 people seat belted into the couch behind the cab. It looked like the RV House portion had a bomb go off inside. Truly tragic stuff.

A classic Entegra Aspire just got towed into Creative Coach in Lakeland FL with a passenger side steer tire blowout Goodyear G670. I was wondering if anyone knows the owners who live in Winter Haven FL. Need to have them file a NHTSA complaint. I can’t get any more information from the body shop than what I listed above.

I thought the open NTHSA complaint was on the 159 series GY that the 670's replaced? Do I have that wrong?

I don’t know anything about the 159s. G670 is definitely the tire with the current complaint.

So sorry that this happened to you. Glad you made it okay and that your three fur babies are okay. I'm sorry about your kitty.
