Strong Odor in the Shower

Every time someone takes a shower I get a strong odor from the shower drain. This just started yesterday. Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks

Roof vent for the holding tank getting clogged forcing fumes back up the shower P trap when in use?

Purely a guess on my part.

Does it happen if you take a cold shower? Water Heater anode may be going bad if it only happens with a hot shower.

Never tried a cold one. Will run cold water and see what happens.

We do not have anode rods in the Aqua Hot. That would not be where the odor is coming from.
Are you on a new water supply that could have an odor when heated. Is the smell coming from the water or the drain?

It appears to be the drain but hard to tell. When I run hot water from the kitchen faucet I don’t get the smell.

There is a post above this one, "Shower Drain". There are a couple of links about cleaning the shower drain. Check the drain for a hair ball, they can stink.

All I can contribute here with the same year and model coach is that we dont get any smell when showering so it is not common. Do you have air ceiling vents on in the bath area when you shower? Could the vent be drawing smell out of some other drain? As Chuck asked, are you sure that it is coming from the shower drain? the washing machine drain? The vanity sink drain? Have the DW stand there while you shower, or simulate showering while your nose does the exploring....

Not familiar with your coach, but I looked up the floor plan. IMO, the odor is more likely coming from the air admittance valve for either the washer/dryer or the vanity. It doesn't seem likely it would come from the shower drain while water is flowing down it and it has a filled trap. Hair in the drain could be the cause, but then you should detect the smell even if you didn't shower by placing your nose close to the drain.
