The control board is in the basement compartment by the pump or one back from the pump. It is a black box that measures 2x5x9 and it will have 2 plug ins the back of the box. It is mounted to the ceiling of the basement compartment.

Thanks to Randy and everybody with their great suggestions and ideas.

Here is where we are so far.

After verifying that all wiring was intact, (no fraying, rodent damage, etc); we decided to start at the Equalizer control panel on the dash and work our way down. We turned the power on , set the auto level, and let the jacks do their thing. Once the jacks were down and set, we removed the panel from the dash and unplugged the connector.

So far, - the jacks are still down - no movement, no unexpected retractions after almost 12 hours. We will monitor this over the weekend and if nothing happens, then the problem lies within the dash-mounted Equalizer control panel.

Will then contact Equalizer to see how we get it fixed or replaced. Will advise further as we progress.

Cheers,

In some cases the act of removing and reinstalling things cleans pins and makes them work again.

One would think that power should be removed from the panel when the ignition key is off. Do measure the input voltage and also the ground side of the panel when you put it back in place.

Now well over 48 hours and no jack movement. The Equalizer control panel appears to be the culprit.

Will wait for sure until Monday morning and if no jack activity/retraction; will be contacting Equalizer to see how we proceed.

Thanks again to everyone for their help and suggestions.

Al, try plugging the panel back in and see if it reset before calling Equalizer. It worked on mine.

Thanks Chuck, will try that on Monday and let you know. As the coach is a 2014, we're outside the warranty period and a replacement panel is anywhere from $285.00 at Equalizer - to almost $400.00 on Ebay.

Thanks again.

Cheers,

AL

I bought a set of these jack stands. Enough capacity (22 tons), and they fit underneath.

Hi Chuck,

You were right. Took your advice and plugged the panel back in. It's been almost 3 weeks now and no movement.

Thanks again,

Cheers,

Hi Van & Myron,

Here's a solution for safety in lieu of jack stands that was shared in this thread (http://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/gett...ch-388997.html) by Senior Member saddlesore.

I'll save you searching through that thread by sharing a couple of photos:

Those are saddlesore's photos of his solution on his Foretravel. The first photo shows a 2" square steel tube cut about 11" long. You'll need four of those (one at each corner) and the length needs to be sized for your particular coach. The second photo shows the square tube in place near an air bag between the chassis frame rail and the house frame rail.

By placing four sections of 2" square tube cut to fit between the chassis frame rail and the house rail when the house has been fully raised by using the leveling jacks, in the event that the leveling jacks fil, the descent of the house will be stopped by the 4 2" square tubes.

Much cheaper than four jack stands and, more importantly, much easier to store four sections of 2" square tube than four jack stands.

Be safe.

Take care,
Stu

P.S. Apologize for the off OP's question response.

Glad it worked. In the old Travel Supreme days, it was a once a year unplugging of the panel to "reboot" it on mine. Mine was usually not holding level. A quick easy fix once a year, not worth replacing the panel for. It always happened when sitting in storage for a awhile.
