That 44L was my submission to Entegra. I chose the "L" designation, not them, so it really has no bearing to the 44F/44L full-wall plan. I do know that Entegra is working on new floorplans (as is every manufacturer) and listens to input from owners so I'm waiting until spring to see what happens when the 2016s roll out.

We love the openness of our 45B near full wall slide. You honestly can not tell the difference when the slides are open and you have the extra strength. Plus the smaller slides are less likely to have problems down the road, IMO. We think the compromise is really the best of both worlds.

Gene- we were initially 'sold' on the DEQ, and still like it a lot but DW saw the 44B and said this is more 'her style' either one's a winner in my book. Your new CS is a beauty!
I agree wholeheartedly with the slides/space and how Entegra handles it.
Time is on our side for now as to timing and floor plans so it will be interesting to see how they evolve.

We also very much like the 44B as the floor plan to us has a very homey feel to it and is almost what we are looking for in our next coach. In our opinion the two drawbacks as compared to an SOB floor plan is no recliner and the DW can't easily reach the stacked washer/dryer over the toilet ( vertically challenged ) .
If Entegra can configure a floor plan similiar but correct those drawbacks we are in ! So for now we also wait with crossed fingers for something new .

Hayman - I solved the recliner issue on our 44B. See picture Lazyboy. The W&D set up really isn't that bad in my opinion. Just need to put the seat down when changing laundry.

Has you wife tried the W/D? My DWis 5'4" and finds the W/D in our new B much lower(taller floor) and easier to reach than our other two Entegras were, one with them in the middle of the coach, the other in the corner of the closet. All JMHO

The back comes off easily and it goes on the bed. We put the bottom on its side between the dining chair and fireplace. Stays there nicely and takes just a minute to get it back to a recliner when we arrive.

Ann n Gene, unfortunately my DW is shorter !
DebbieMH , hope you are enjoying your 44B we sent you the message from LD'S congratulating you & suggesting you have your salesman lock it . Too much foot traffic !
What specific LazyBoy is that ? Did not realize backs came off so easily but only works with straight couch in lieu of L.

Hayman, understood! My point was that with the raised floor in the back bathroom, the top of the dryer is the lowest of any Entegra configuration. And there is room between the toilet and the dryer to slip in there to load and start the dryer. Again JMHO

Yes, thanks for the suggestion. I really enjoyed Lazy Days. It was nice being there all week and asking questions ! yes, the backs come off really easy, and I don't remember which specific model it is - but Lazy Boy has several that are on the smaller scale like this one. Actually, one just like it in a fabric was on sale for less than $300! This one wasn't - due to the leather, but my DH loves it. I think it would work with the L-shaped sofa with the L-shape in. And yes, we are really enjoying the 44B - one of the best decisions we have ever made

And by the way Hayman, many recliners backs come off, some easier than others...applause to DebbieMH for the innovation. We had the DEQ, got rid of the Eurolounger...wasn't comfortable. Used my own recliner. This looks like a real workable idea, as I didn't find the "L" pull out that functional....JMHO.

We think it's a great idea just never knew the LazyBoys backs came off like that. We had Ekornne Stresslers at the house.
Regarding washer/dryer understand your comment and fully agree there is no perfect floor plan.
We are as stated earlier incredibly impressed with the management people we have spoken with at Entegra and equally impressed with RVOne in Orlando at this point in time. So we'll see where this goes but admit getting excited !!!
