We store our broom in the washer/dryer cabinet, hanging on a hook, in the narrow space between the w/d and the outer wall of the coach. It is an otherwise unusable space.

ADDED-Cabinet above toilet in DEQ...

I built a small cabinet above and behind the toilet in my DEQ.
14"x24"x8"
As you can see it's perfect for paper, soap, shampoo, chemicals....just remember...you must never run out of certain items!

Soft maple, stained to match. Stock Entegra door.

Pat

Pat, you're going to have to go to the 17,000 lb. axle. Noel

De-ionized On Board Washing/Rinsing Setup

Wanted to set up onboard washing and de-ionized rinsing in my coach. As most are aware, tap water leaves a lot of water spots and requires drying if the coach after washing to prevent them. De-ionized water for the last rinse cycle prevents that. I don't like the portables as they seem to take up a lot of space and require lifting them out and untangling hoses.

Here's my solution:

Mounted the tanks using an aluminum bracket I welded up next to the rear basement mounted fridge freezer. Plumbed the water from behind the access panel for the water tanks on the right side, plumbed pressurized water from the same area over to the left side water cabinet.

Mounted a reel in the left side water cabinet for hose, used Home Depot a3/8 air hose for the flexible hose. This provides 75' of usable hose on a reel that retracts. Mounted it an angle so that I can feed it through the hose opening and close the cabinet door. The black valve turns it on and off, the white valve switches from tank water to de-ionized water.
