Temperature drop

When we went to bed it was in the 70s outside. Woke up to 40 outside. AC running when we went to bed, had to crank up the fireplace for breakfast. Fireplace did a great job throughout the coach.

On a side note, we're taking I-10 to Tucson tomorrow. They had a 20 car pileup between here and Tucson yesterday due to a huge sandstorm! Glad we stopped in Deming!

Yep...we found the fireplace very handy for cool, not cold mornings/days...don't know how much it will add to the electric bill when we hook up at a single location for the Winter and they tap us for electric:(

There's a thread on General Discussion that talks to this accident. A coach pulling a white toad was involved. Looks like it was pulled off the road from what little you can see. Three people killed in the overall accident. Guess that means if the dust, snow or fog comes up. Pull a heck of a long ways off the road, or take an exit soonest.

If caught in fog or dust, pull as far as you can off the roadway. Then..and THIS IS CRUCIAL.. Turn off all your headlights and running lights and take your foot off the brake. Turn off your engine. Make yourself invisible to other drivers. The danger is that another driver on the main way will see your lights and plow right into you.
