Thetford Area Deluxe II toilet
So for some reason the fuse on our Thetford Area Deluxe II toilet blew. Called Thetford for fuse they said to Google or Amazon. Found on Google, Fuse is $16.00 each, holly cow. Sad when the manufacture doesn't want to sell parts. I ordered three of those very valuable $16.00 fuses and then spent extra for quick shipping. The sad thing is I hope it takes care of the problem.
We are full timers and after almost 3 years this is the first problem with this toilet. What have you experienced and had to replace on yours.
looking for a place to buy a fuse that is $5.00 or less.

Ace Hardware has them with appliance fuses. I just bought a package of I thing 3 for $3.75. Take your fuse with you to match it up.

It is a 4-amp 3AG Slow-Blow Fuse.

And usually runs about $5 or more each. Make sure it is a slow-blow or you may be looking to get another replacement fuse.

I HATE it when my toilet blows a fuse!!!!
Actually I have two regular RV toilets and the only thing that went bad in 14 years was that the seats broke.

There is a fairly long thread on here that I started about a month ago dealing with this exact issue. You might look for it.
And, as other have said, you might be able to find the correct one at AutoZone, or Ace Hardware. They are the old style glass cylindrical fuse. My memory is that they are 30 mm long and they must be called "slow blow fuses" On my unit, the fuse is located in a yellow rubber in-line fuse holder that you can reach from above or beside the toilet.

None of the Auto Parts Stores in my area had slow blow fuses. Only place I was able to find them was Ace and one existing Radio Shack. Radio Shack was twice the price as Ace, but they were 5 packs.
