Tire Pressure Monitor Systems

I Have a 2010 Cornerstone that came from the factory with a SecuTire monitor system in the dash. I have been looking all over the internet for information on new sensors and programming information with no luck. Per ES they have not been able to get parts for this system in years.
Question, What comes on the new Entegras and is it in the dash? I have found systems on line but nothing that mounts in the dash. I do not want a useless piece of equipment in my dash or do I want a hole in the dash if I remove it, so I was looking for something to replace it with. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are several but this outfit has excellent customer service and a good product. We have used their product for years.

And they are a sponsor on this forum.

I don't think there is anything on the Entegra's from the factory. Everyone I know has added something, but I don't know of anyone who's put them INTO the dash. You might be able to get a new system and the mount the display where the old one is.

Emerson is thinking along the same lines as I was. There has been a lot of technology change it the last 6 years. What size is the hole in the dash and maybe someone can recommend a current brand that would fit in the cut out. The EEZ RV monitor is 4.5" X 3" if that helps.

I mounted mine with Velcro to the dash, so it could be mounted inside or covering the cut out.

There are no TPMS included with any of the new Entegra's

Bob, if you can snap an image of what you have in the dash and post it here, there are some very creative minds on this forum that probably make some good suggestions.

I have not thought of trying to install a system in the dash - makes sense - I hate the suction cup thing on mine - it will definitely mess up the dash.

If I remember correctly, they used to put the tire monitoring system with the trip-tek. Check here to see if this is it.
Coretronics, Inc - Trip Tek Motor Coach Computer & Smart Tire Pressure Monitoring
They stopped supplying tire monitoring systems from the factory around 2012.

Thank You All. CS Said I should look for Tire Sentry. Said it would fit in same hole. Guess since they are no longer installing tire monitors from the factory they didn't know that company was also out of business.
Think my best bet would be the TST 507 and mount it over the hole were the old system was.

rpowers-

I'm a neatnik, but I also look for ways to accomplish things with less effort.

Judging by the size of the heater display knobs, it seems to me that the old system's display is large and flat enough to take a suction cup or round piece of Velcro, both of which can be removed at a later date without permanent residue. My Tire-SafeGuard display would likely mount there just fine (mounted in its cradle, that is).

If this helps, new tire monitor mounted to the dash with Velcro. You already have the hole to connect the wires, should be an easy mount.

Yes that was what I was thinking. I also like your extra power-point. Might install one of those also while I have the dash apart.

I was think of changing one of mine to USB as one is used as a USB charger all of the time.

Chuck, does regular Velcro work okay or did you use high strength or high temp Velcro?
