Tires in/near Kansas City

Pulled into the Worlds of Fun RV Village in Kansas City with my tire alarm going off. Found a very slow leak in my outside passenger dual. It is a Goodyear G670 275/80R22.5, presumably from late 2014 so just about 5 years old. Fronts are new Michelinís.

Called CoachNet and they have dispatched a service call with Goodyear who will be here in 3 hours. Before they get here, any advice as what to do/not do with a mobile repair? I assume they bring their own air jacks.

My only cost will for the patch, if they indeed have to patch it. But if they decide that the tire needs to be replaced would it be best to just try to find a local truck tire place that can sell and install all 6 rear tires? Any suggestions of a tire dealer in this area anyway?

This has not been a good travel season for us....

John, I would suggest finding the wrench for the center cap.

Also, Iíd remove the plastic lug covers.

For the safety of the tech, ensure youíre on really solid ground.

I cannot suggest a good shop, but Iím sure someone will chime in.

Personally, Iíd likely only change the matched duals if I was on a trip. If youíve been thinking of changing tires, you could easily change just the 4 drive tires and circle around for the tags at some later date.

Service guy showed up and was obviously experienced. Found a large self tapping screw in the tread, he was able to remove the tire and patch the hole without removing the wheel. About as easy a job as you could make this. He did tell me it was good to have a TPMS as I could have total destroyed the tire. But now it is patched and aired back up.

No charge thanks to CoachNet. On the road again...
