TPMS System Repeater

For those with aftermarket systems, where did you mount the repeater for the wheel sensors?

Do the chassis batteries get enough charge from the solar panel up top to connect to them and leave it on all the time?

TST had told me to hook it up in the battery compartment, I have a gasser so I wired it to a 12 volt light switch near the towed.
Sorry, I can't give you answer about the solar panel.

We mounted ours in the battery compartment and powered it off the chassis batteries.

I tapped into the movement sensor for the light in the rear closet.

I have a TT500 tracker system for 12 tires. Have relay unit bought from Tire tracker that mounts in rear closet and is connected to 12 v from light. Using in fur almost 4 years! Works fine !

I have the TST. Mounted the repeater on the A-frame, hardwired to the battery. I was/am a newbie still. Will most likely either add an inline switch (something else to turn on/off when hitching) or even better, will wire into marker/tail lights.

I added a 12 volt power outlet in the rear hallway for other devices and it works fine for my TPMS repeater. Plug it in while traveling, put it away when parked.

just inboard of the bank of huge rotary switched (door side last main basement door in front of drive wheels) there is a carpet covered panel held on with velcro. Under it are 2 big bussbars for the house batteries. I connected there, and screwed the repeater to the wood basement ceiling.

On my Challenger since the generator was in the rear I connected into the lug where the 12 volt power came if for the starter and there was a ground lug right next to the generator. I connected it into a rocker switch so I could turn the repeater off when it was not needed. I then mounted the repeater on the trailer hitch with the antennas facing down.

Since the Accolade also has a rear mounted generator I plan to do something similar.

Mounted it in the closet using the 12v overhead light for power. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I installed ours in the top right of engine bay and tied it into engine bay light which is also the closet light circuit.

Someone please provide some details on how you connected to the closet or engine bay light.

Thanks.
