TST tire pressure monitor issues
Based on mostly good reviews I bought the complete TST system, repeater antennae and extra sensors for the tag axle and the toad. System seemed to be quality components when unpacking them. Instruction manual was a little scary as it looked to be put together decades ago and Xeroxed in China. I was immediately wary when no tech line was listed in the literature....
Installed the sensors and hooked everything up. It works...sort of. Sensors not very accurate compared to three known good gauges. Interestingly the front tires on the RV always show about 40 PSI low causing false alarms. The tires are properly inflated and checked repeatedly yet the TST system always shows them 40 PSI low. Swapped sensors and reprogrammed for the change...only to get the same result with the other sensors. So far l have only driven with the system about 500 miles and now two of the sensors are showing zero PSI. Removed them, checked tire pressure, reinstalled and still read zero.
This system is worse than useless so far. It is misleading. Some of the tires read fine yet others show false low readings. Instead of peace of mind the thing is driving me nuts as I hate seeming zero PSI even though I know it is an error.
I haven't dared to put the sensors on the toad as I cannot get 8 sensors on the Anthem to work correctly and repeatably so why try to get 4 more to work? I have tried the repeater, tried both antennae and tried moving the unit around in the coach to no avail.
About ready to see if Camping World will live up to their money back satisfaction guarantee.
Anyone have any ideas or similar experience?
Anyone have a tech line to call for help from TST? The only TST number listed goes to an answering machine and no one returns the call....

When you find out what the issue is, let us all know. I was looking at that system for my needs.

I've found TST to be very responsive when I've had a problem.

I have the TST system on my 14 Anthem and it works fine. On the front tires I had to use the non flow thru sensors (that resemble a small hockey puck) because the flow thrus stuck out so far and I was afraid of scraping one off. The only other issue I had was on the inner duals I had to remove the valve extenders and attach the sensors closer to the inner wheel than I hoped for. They still are accessible. I rarely have problems with them. Call TST. They are pretty good at swapping stuff out if you have problems. I emailed the owner, Dan Covington via the Forums and he emailed me back next day about a question I had.

I have Pressure Pro with a repeater and it works well +/- a pound or two.

Just got a direct email from Dan Covington of TST and they committed to resolving the problems and making the system work correctly.
I feel better already knowing help is available. I will report progress and findings.
