Vega Touch - Date Time Set

My vegatouch date / time is wrong. Screen states information set by coach's gps. How do I sync so information is correct??

Is this a new issue or has your date/time never been correct?

Have the same issue. Went from mountain time to Pacific time in Jan and after 2 months time did not change on Vega Touch panel.

I know on the XCiite units if you had them set time via GPS the coding from those Chinese guys wasn't right because the time difference between GMT and local varies depending on Daylight Savings time. Maybe VegaTouch has the same issue.

Call C/S they will walk you through steps to reset,

Easy process, done in the settings menu of your radio.

Go to the settings wheel far right icon. Hold it until the blue vega square comes up, then touch all four corners and it'll take you to the screen where you can change date/time.

Hold the ? Button to get the blue screen. Even though you can change the time by this method it's not a good idea since the time will be overwritten by your gps' time. Ours has worked flawlessly for more than a year, even giving us the correct time when we go to a strange time zone like Arizona where it's Mountain time, but without DST.

For the GPS to set the time on the Vegatouch you need to have Wi-Fi connectivity from the radio to the router that the Vega system uses. Logon information is on the label on the top of the router.if you hold down the Wi-Fi button on the radio it should take you to the logon screen.

X3 - just did it. A bit cumbersome but once the radio was on the coach router it worked flawlessly.

Now I know what that wifi not connected message means when I first start up.

A small side benefit is that you now will be able to use the limited control of the VT from the Radio screen.

Well, you'll have to sync up your router with your Vega Touch. Find your router and there you'll find the router name and password on a label on the router. Write them down and then go to the drivers seat and access the Riverpark display.

On the Riverpark press menu, then vegatouch in the lower left corner. At the vegatouch display press the lower right green button. Within the menu you should see a few selections, find your router name. Select it then press the connect button. At this point it'll ask for your password, enter it then select connect....That's all there is too it...Good luck and if this doesn't work, there's always CS on Monday.
