An Aspire or Insignia would be less complicated and could get newer for same or less than older Anthem or Cornerstone. A 2017 Aspire is on the same Chassis as Anthem with IFS and has AGM batteries, which I highly recommend. By the time you are ready to buy, a used 2018 Aspire may be available which has some nice upgrades. I don't know where you live but since you travel a lot go to several dealers, especially those with large inventory. Just because you visit does not lock you in to buying from them. You will see many comments about various dealers on this forum. Ignore them for now while you just want to look. Also take the time to visit factories. That will tell you a lot about the quality that goes into them. At a Tiffin you can spend all day wandering around, while others are tours. But you will see a huge difference. I used to own a Tiffin Phaeton and unlike many others did not have problems. But there are reasons I now own an Aspire.

I believe that NIRVC has an inspection that might be what you're looking for if you end up buying from a private party. As others have stated, look long and hard and if you end up with a dealer, research here and other places how well they take care of their used inventory while on the lot.

Agree with all that has been said. If I were buying a used coach, I would definitely buy from someone known to this group (either directly or peripherally).
As far as not knowing anything about RVing, well, my CS is my first motorhome. Don't worry, the regulars on this forum will guide you through it all!

RVsquared, you're lucky!!! Indiana does not require a special license for RVs, there are no restrictions on length or weight when it comes to licensing.
