Washer
Does anyone else have trouble getting the washer to start in their Anthem? We have a 2013 Anthem and I am having trouble getting the washing machine to start the cycle. Thanks!

Working an intermittent issue with Joyce. She told me today that an Anthem owner in Fl with Whirlpool was having issues and it turned out to be a door locking mechanism issue. You might check with her.
We wer getting an F 007 electrical fault. Happened associated with spin cycle. hasn't reoccured since we watch the tumbling (spin cycle and balance). Ours would not start in that Foo7 condition.
Best bet with this one is to talk with Joyce at Entegra. May be some commonality.

We also have an intermittent starting problem with our washing machine. Whirlpool has looked at it and is not sure what the problem is. They have ordered parts and we will see if that is a fix.

Washer
I kept getting a water fill fault until I pulled the panel from the closet and discovered one of the water line valves was off. Now it works fine.

Kinda makes one wonder just who at the factory and/or dealer signed off that the washer worked OK.

My washer and dryer are sitting on the floor behind my bed in my new anthem 44sl ebony blaze. was receiving f07 codes and difficulty starting even though the computer takes time. Joyce Skinner from factory said they are not happy with this Maytag unit. a&e factory service found nothing wrong with unit. the second repair co last week found faulty door lock and new computer circuit board needed. waiting on both parts right now. It's a shame.

Washer repair
On Friday, new door latch mechanism installed as well as new computer circuit board on washer. Both units will be re-installed into cabinet Monday afternoon. Original problem was F07 code as well as up to 1/2 hour delay in washer start time. Third issue was door lock/unlock mechanism prevented starting. After all is said and done, this unit is unique in itself. When starting, the computer needs a good deal of time to read itself and go through internal checklist. All funtions are much slower than for example, your home unit. All this according to both repairmen. Had to spend time with my wife discussing this so she doesn't pull on the door over and over or continually push buttons and expect immediate response.

As stated earlier, we had the F007 error which is supposedly electrical. We do not have any delays in the start cycle.
That said, the next day after we had the F007 issue and had pulled all out of the washer, we ran a"load" with nothing in the washer. We had experienced the F007 during a spin cycle and it seems virtually impossible to spin without a little balance "shake" of not just the machine but the coach.
I think the spin cycle may jar the door latch, shutting down te machine, particularly in light of the door latch issues being ID'd earlier in this post.
We've been much more cognizant of balance and have not been able to replicate the F007 electrical fault since--a phantom that drives you crazy

Hey Dave,
My initial problem was F07, is that what you mean? I do not think there is F007. But anyway, both visits from two different repair companies last week sent here by Joyce Skinner told me that F07 was motor and not electrical. One of them said that overloading the washer will cause it to throw that code due the amount of work. That same repairman also said it will reset itself after reduction in the amount being cleaned, or start of a new cycle/load.

You are correct...F07; however the Maytag help desk said the code was an electrical fault. Doesn't matter; in any event, we have never run a very large load, but the load that we ran, combined with some spin balance may have shut it down.
Your reflection makes sense that it then resets itself; so I think the fault may come from overloading or a spin cycle balance issue.
Thanks for the explanation.
