Washing the Coach

My sons bought me a "Foam Cannon" for washing the coach. I tested it this past weekend and I'll have to say it sure worked good and was easy to use. The foam removed the road grime pretty well without much effort and the wheels even cleaned up well.

There's a couple of youtube videos showing how these things work.

They spray a thick foam all over the coach and let it sit for a short while allowing the "shampoo" to loosen the dirt, then you rinse the coach down. I use "super filtered" revers osmosis water for the rinse and which is spot free.

I'll post some pictures the next time I use it.

It's called the Torq professional foam cannon model "MaxFoam8 EQP_310"

and the soap is Honeydew Snowfoam cws110. They bought it all from the "Chemical Guys".

Also to be clear about my rinse water......

I had a guy who installs the water systems in car washes, install the same type of water system for me. It's a "Ultra" clear reverse osmosis system which means it has an extra pump forcing the water through the filter membrane. I believe he said the pump has 350psi going through the filters.

I collect that water in a 20 gallon tank I bought at the local farm store. This tank is sold as a sprayer and has a water pump & spray handle on it. When I'm done the coach looks better than when the truck wash shop does it.

I use the CR spotless portable RO unit. It's awesome!

When I wax mine, it usually takes all day and about 1/2 bottle of Jack. Funny thing is, I've only fallen off the ladder one time and that happened when I hadn't been drinking. I tried telling my wife that sober and ladder climbing doesn't mix well, I could get hurt doing that.

So no brushing, or hand mitt? Just rinse?
